2007 heralds the thirty-fifth year of trading for Marshall Thermo King. During that time, MTK has grown to around 200 employees, working from 10 Regional Service Centres, offering the company's services across the whole of the UK. Managing Director, Nigel Faben, states "we have seen many changes in the industry during the last 35 years. The majority of our customers now want their vehicles serviced on their own sites, to reduce down-time." This led to the introduction of around 100 mobile engineers working from fully-kitted vans. Approximately 25% of MTK engineers are based permanently at customer locations, providing the ultimate level of customer service. Marshall Thermo King also set up its own 24/7 National Operations Centre in December 2006, which is now also used by a number of other transportation companies offering breakdown & repair services.
With the Marshall Group celebrating its centenary in 2009, MTK is justifiably proud of both its track record and its pedigree..
